How the fuck could I instigate a musical right now?
I'm not kidding. I know I've told a few of you... like in school. I start humming the first few notes of a well-known song, and suddenly, everyone is singing along, doing rediculously complicated dance maneuvers in time- people stick their heads out of classrooms and slam lockers in time. The janitor dances with his mop before going into an alto solo- students and teachers do those little knee slide things on the floor and confetti comes from nowhere.
It's all really very exciting. And truthfully, i think about this alot more than is healthy.
Anyway, on the topic of musicals, I saw Chicago yesterday! And... it was really, really great. I see why it's one of the top shows on broadway... it really deserves it. There's nothing really more I can say but "go see Chicago". Really. Go do it.
In downtown Manhattan (specifically on St. Marks Place, which is near 8th Ave and Lafayette) there is a little hole in the wall called Tea Kettle. Tea kettle sells nothing but bubble teas. Bubble teas are a japanese invention, which is basically any type of tea, with these tapioca chewys. They're like little round balls, usually multicolored, that are sweetish, and chewy, and taste of tapioca. really.
Anyway, point is, good bubble tea is DELICIOUS. and refreshing! and if you're feeling ridiculous, like I usually do, you could use the straws to fire the tapioca chewys at your friends :D Anyway, the drinks are well priced ($3.95 gets you a 16-0z cup), and come in an assortment of flavors, such as peach, strawberry, leeche, and mango, as well as in different varieties of teas, such as black, green, oolong, etc. Also, they have things such as slushes, as well as other variations of aforementioned flavors. Whenever I'm in manhattan, i make a point of stopping by bubble tea. you should as well.
actually, they also just opened a fried chicken place in the same little store thing, and the chicken is delicious, and goes well with just about any bubble tea you can get.
SO. Dan and I named the clothing company, which would be "Diamond Nothing." We kinda just thought of the first cool name we could, and stuck with it, so it's fine. Shirts should be out as soon as i stop being lazy.
okay, it's time for breakfast. I'll probably post another entry later, cause this was kinda just a shallow "what happened". But yeah, bubbletea (<3) Chicago(<3) Diamond Nothing (<3)
oh, and
you(<3)
